in case you only know the rush limbaugh/sandra fluke controversy through the media’s coverage and are not a habitual listener of limbaugh’s show, here’s a little bit of rush holding forth on fluke - just to give an idea of the overall quality of his rhetoric.

for context, here is a wikipedia bio of fluke, whom limbaugh characterizes as “an immoral, baseless, no purpose to her life…woman.”

“Fluke graduated from Cornell University in 2003 and spent five years working for Sanctuary for Families, a New York-based nonprofit aiding victims of domestic violence, where she launched the agency’s pilot Program Evaluation Initiative. She co-founded the New York Statewide Coalition for Fair Access to Family Court, which successfully advocated for legislation granting access to civil orders of protection for unmarried victims of domestic violence, including LGBTQ victims and teens. Fluke was also a member of the Manhattan Borough President’s Taskforce on Domestic Violence and numerous other New York City and New York State coalitions that successfully advocated for policy improvements impacting victims of domestic violence. While at Georgetown University Law Center, she worked on issues that involved domestic violence and human trafficking.

THE VOICE OF THE TURTLEDOVE [1, 2, 3]

“I’m not sorry I want you,” Dean says again, with a forthrightness that makes Castiel shudder. “I don’t want to be absolved of it, Father.”

OH THERE’S ANOTHER ONE. :D

For Crying Out Loud, this is a perfect work of genius.
